RUSTY TURTLE

IMG_3401Every month over at two peas in a bucket photography board there is a color challenge.  For the month of January it was “Rust.”

Could not have been more up my alley!  And perfect for Montana.

IMG_3402This rusty turtle is a piece of public art in downtown Bozeman.IMG_3403The turtle is placed about 20 yards from the local photography shop – where I get cameras, lenses and other items like replacement lens caps (my most common purchase) when I lose yet another one.IMG_3405I’d love to climb on top of it, but that is probably reserved for the children of the community.

  1. Pat

Love love this. I really like all the close details you’ve captured. Whoever made this has a wonderful eye and use for reclaimed materials.

  2. I love it too. All the gear like parts with the teeth are really cool and love you closeups of those parts.
