DOWN BY THE RIVER

The river rushes, edged by marsh teaming with life.

A momma’s heart soars with joy at time spent together.

A young man heads down the bank, pointing out the places where the fish will sit in the summer and pointing out signs of jumping trout.

A voice and a laugh leading the way.

A child of hugs and loves.

Conversations carried on walking down the path.

Fort builder, friend encourager, and now, finally, salad eater.

Boy of faith and praise.

All that, but more than anything this momma and son walk was about a boy who is still completely satisfied with playing with a stick.

Gotta love the contrast of a tween boy.
