OCTOBER EVENING

Looking out the window this evening I was inspired to go grab my camera.  Should have also grabbed the tripod, but didn’t.  These are what it is looking like on October evenings.

All is well.  We had a bit of a family evening at home, which is rare.  No T.V., no meetings, Andy home from work early, everybody sitting at the dinner table together, J doing homework, me doing laundry.  Who could ask for anything more?

With the long-awaited surgery finally done, there is a bit of an anticlimactic sense around here.  To be expected I guess, but feels a bit weird.

Lulls don’t last long around here, so time to enjoy the slower pace while it lasts.
