J is old enough for tackle football this season. He desparately wants to play. So, Andy and Leo are giving him some conditioning exercises and some coaching.
The death crawl is a nightly exercise.
Leo takes his coaching duties seriously, can’t you tell!
I, of course, am excused from these activities because I’ve got a broken shoulder.
It is amazing to watch how J is growing. The bones from his knee to his ankle is getting long and man like. And he stand in poses that are not very little boy anymore. The other day I saw him leaning against the car, with his legs stretched out in front of him and his ankles crossed. I can see the man he will be! Amazing!
All this football is wonderful – I love the sport.
Sorry the photos were kind of out of focus. It was late in the evening, and I really didn’t have enough light, so the apeture was too wide for the activity. But I think you get the idea.
While it is always amazing, watching your children grow and change, watching them grow into the person that you will view as a young adult is something that is unbelievable. When I hug my 17yr old son, I feel his muscles and think..oh my, he is almost a man! Just wait until they have to start shaving…
I know what you mean…they do grow so fast! Love the football pics.
I bet all that football makes Grandpa Gary very proud!!!
